Seascape Joinery delivers high end joinery for commercial and multi residential projects across QLD, NSW and VIC.Â
From medical and education spaces to retail and hospitality fitouts, we are trusted to deliver precision under pressure and get it done right, every time.Â
This is an in-house role only, so applicants must be able to travel to our factory in Coolum Beach. Unfortunately, we will not be taking any applications for remote work.
Who You Are
You’re an experienced drafter looking for your next opportunity, or a cabinetmaker ready to move off the tools.
You are detail-focused, with the ability to read, interpret and produce accurate shop drawings.
You’re confident working with project managers, tradespeople and clients to keep jobs on track.
You’re organised, professional and committed to raising the standard on every project.
You’ve got:
- Cabinetmaking or manufacturing backgroundÂ
- Knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, finishes and processes
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules and site specifications
- Experience with drafting and set out software (Microvellum)
- Mathematical aptitude, strong organisation and time management skills
- White Card and current driver’s licence
- Commitment to WHS, safe work practices and zero-harm environments

What We Need
Our projects are unique and often complex, and we need drafters who can:
- Set out and draw joinery projects with accuracy and pride
- Interpret architectural drawings and site specifications into clear shop drawings
- Produce cutting lists, take offs and order project materials and hardware
- Liaise with project managers, clients and factory staff to resolve queries
- Conduct site measures and inspections to clarify specifications
- Manage and track project reviews or changes, ensuring communication is clear and timely
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes and company policies

- Shop drawings are accurate, clear and ready for production
- Projects flow smoothly from drafting to the factory floor without delays
- Communication between drafting, project management and factory teams is seamless
